I love Rose Tyler, and Donna Noble was sassy, but Martha Jones was the most human of them all. And that’s why people didn’t like her - because she acted rashly, fell in love with someone who can’t love her back, and expected him to earn her respect.
We all want to be Rose, with Donna Noble’s wit, but if the Doctor ever landed on our doorstep and held out his hand, we would be Martha. And that’s why I love her.
